“Wait!  Waitwaitwait!”  The voice was rather high-pitched but not outlandish...yet.

“Let me go!  I'll tear him limb from limb!  Let me go!”  Crashes punctuated the words, a deeper voice than the previous one.

Outside, a pert little blond, a redhead and a raven stood around, pretending not to actually hear what was taking place beyond that heavy steel door.

“Noooo!  Don't!  We...we NEED him Seph!”  Again the higher-pitched voice shouted, more crashes, a few thumps, a rather surprised few squeaks then there was quiet.

Outside, in the dismal waiting room, the three men exchanged glances but no one spoke.  It seemed they were slightly unwilling to do so.  Suddenly, a scream came from the room, followed by several loud crashes and two more screams.  Cloud, Reno and Tseng exchanged worried gazes again but by the time the third scream pierced the air, Cloud was fixated on the door.

“That was a girly scream,” the blond commented, as if the other two hadn't come to the same conclusion.

“Nah.  Couldn't have been, yo.  That'd be Zack.  And Zack---”

“Noooo, Seph!!” followed by another girly scream which was even higher than the others.

Tseng lunged for the door as he called out, “Girly scream!”

The door was flung open, red, blond and black peered uncertainly beyond it to the room which contained Zack Fair, General Sephiroth and a cowering, obviously terrified but highly annoyed geneticist.

Zack was struggling to keep Sephiroth from piercing the scientist with Masamune and such a task was not working to everyone's satisfaction, least of all the scientist's.  “No, Seph!  Really!  We...we NEED him!”

“Need him?  NEED HIM?!” Sephiroth bellowed as he tried to evade the powerhouse blocking him from skewering the scientist.  “We do not need him, Zachary!  After what he's done, you dare to---”

“Yes!  Yes, we need him!  Only he can undo this, Seph!  Think about it!”  Zack was struggling, both hands clamped like vises around Sephiroth's biceps, head tilted, wide blue eyes staring up at the silver general as if hoping his inane attempts at logic would somehow pierce the rage boiling through his commanding officer.

All during that moment of struggle, the three who had been waiting for their turn in the doctor's office simply stared, confused, surprised and wondering what the hell was going on.  It was Tseng who found his voice first.

“I would hope if you have decided to do him intense harm or death, you consider all possibilities before you simply pin him to the desk, General.”

Sephiroth's glare slid across the space between them and fixed on Tseng.  “What possibilities?”  His voice was a little bit lower than anyone expected which caused the entire room to shudder with foreboding.

“I mean only that if you are about to kill him, you should have a plan to rid yourself of the body or some possible explanation as to why you have done so.  Inquiries will be difficult and you know how Rufus loves the limelight.  He'll be there, with bells on, surely.  I do not doubt your capability, General, only your short-sightedness in this particular situation.”

The room was weirdly silent, all but the scuffling and sniffling of the scientist who had yet to speak.  Markson, one of Hojo's favorite students, was curled in a little ball, hatred pouring from his stare as it flickered from one to another of those faces in the room.  He had thought to argue or insist, had even reached twice for the button to call the guards but quite obviously Sephiroth remembered his old haunts too well.  That damned button was across the room now and Markson was in a corner feeling highly embarrassed and mentally calculating the possible injuries he would receive if he simply bolted toward the doorway.  However, that would involve bursting through the men standing there as if they were children peering into a secret closet, watching something they shouldn't be.  Oh why hadn't he simply said 'nothing of importance' when Sephiroth had asked him?  Why?!

Sephiroth's gaze flickered to Zack who hadn't let up on his grip and was giving that familiar pleading stare.  “And what do you propose to do about this situation?  Do you think he will reverse what he has done?” he questioned his second.

Zack was momentarily startled by such a logical response.  He had expected more struggling and trying to keep his feet while Sephiroth used his greater skill, weight and rage against him.  “Uhhmm....”

“Of course I will not reverse it!  That is ludicrous!  Why would I---?” Markson got part of his comment out before he found himself face-to-point with Masamune.  He went pale and swallowed audibly but didn't speak again.

“Please say one more word.  Please...” Sephiroth said softly, a wicked smile on his lips.

Zack picked himself up off the floor and huffed as he glanced to the others who had finally entered the room.  They all were staring at the little scientist and there were thoughts that he looked oddly like their most hated geneticist who had been dead for some time.  “Seph, really, skewering him isn't going to make this go away,” he answered softly, feeling worn out now.

“Hey, I got a question,” Reno chirped, a half smile on his lips as he glanced around the room then to the tallest of them.  He tried to appear less than intimidated but didn't manage it well.  “Uh, what did he do?”

“NO!” Zack lunged and deflected Masamune from its new target just barely.  “C'mon, Seph...” he continued as he pressed the weapon back a little, clearing his throat to try to answer.  He didn't take his eyes off Sephiroth but finally answered, “He impregnated both me and Sephiroth.”

There was silence.  Utter silence that filled the room for a long few seconds.  Finally, Reno began to chuckle and Cloud hid his smile behind his hand as Tseng frowned quite hard trying not to show any emotion at all.  The Turk's gaze moved back to Markson and one dark brow lifted.

“Is that true?”

“Well of course it's true!  It's in the notes.  Hojo---” Markson began, only to be stopped once again by Masamune's close point which hovered near his heart.  The little geneticist swallowed again and licked his lips but didn't continue.

“See?” Zack commented to the room at large, the sweep of his hand including the others as he sat down on the desk's paper-strewn surface.  “Seems we can't get away from the asshat even now.  I do not get why you guys are so intent on fucking with things you shouldn't be fucking with!”

Sephiroth didn't speak but kept his gaze fixed on Markson, internally guaging just how much pressure was necessary to pierce the man's heart and how much of a mess it would leave once he withdrew the blade again.  Not too much, surely.  Just a bit.  And they could clean it up in short order.  The body could be easily gotten rid of in the river of mako which ran beneath the facility in which they stood.  It would be simple...

Tseng stood considering things, thinking it all through then his gaze moved back to Markson and fixed there.  “Dare I ask if you have initiated this procedure in anyone else, doctor?”

The room went silent again as Markson's head turned and beady, dark eyes fixed on the tall Turk.  “Yes,” he answered quietly, a slow smirk appearing on his lips.

Within another moment Reno, Cloud, Tseng and Sephiroth had all lunged for the doctor but trying to battle to get a hand-hold on him was harder than it should've been.  There were four men now struggling to end the one genetecists life and Zack stood slowly, gave a sigh and shook his head.  Crossing his arms, he frowned slightly, “Yeh, this is gonna be one helluva long day.  And how the fuck am I going to explain this to Cid and Vincent?  Well, at least they're not in the middle of it.”

At jus that moment, Zack's phone rang and he plucked it out of his pocket, sidestepping to avoid the struggling, screaming, growling mob which was making a complete mess of the small office.  He stepped out of the office and closed the door quietly behind him as he put the phone to his ear.  “Zack here,” he answered calmly.

“VINCENT IS FUCKING PREGNANT!” came a scream from the object against Zack's ear.

Zack blinked, gaped for a second then nodded as he leaned against the nearest wall.  “Uh, Cid?  Erm...didn't you get that flu shot too?”

The deafening silence in his ear told him the answer before Cid exploded into a neverending stream of expletives.  Zack slid into a crouch, nodding to himself, glancing to the closed door on occasion and commenting, “Yeh.  Yeh.  I know, Cid.  I-I...I know.  It'll be okay...  It'll be...okay...”
This was written quite a while ago when MagicRat had a contest concerning Mpreg and trollfic, or something of the sort.  Unfortunately, I missed my chance and although I did finish my attempt, I didn't get to enter it into the contest.  Later, after reading the other entries and the winning one, I decided it was a very good thing I didn't even try.    However, upon finding this hidden away in a folder (among other bits of fluff and nonsense), I decided to drop it here and see if it gets any comments and/or notice.  ;)

It's not supposed to be written well (and it's not) and there's no extensive explanations to be had.  Just a short scene for the helluvit.  Hope you enjoy!  (I enjoyed writing it)
